Sartaj Hans and Peter Gill with team mates John McAllister and Sam Lev defeated the Cayne team to make it into the round of 16 of the Spingold teams but then were defeated by Team Assael which includes Alex Smirnov, a regular visitor to Australia and coach of our youth players. Alex’s team defeated Hamman in the quarter finals and plays Schwartz in the semis.

Team Assael was also responsible for knocking out Ishmael Del’Monte’s team (Street) in Round 2.
