For low level players (beginners and supervised level)

One thing I do is deal out one set hand at every table, then get every table to lay the North (ONLY) face up.
then give the whole table the problem together:
what would you lead against 3NT (discuss)
then, on the dame deal, what wuld you lead against 3D

    something like
    JT953
    KQJ
    93
    A32

    The interesting discussion points are:
against NT, prefer to lead the long suit (Spades)
when leading a Spade, prefer to lead the SJ, not the fourth highest.
The Heart is ok, but prefer a long suit
    the CA is not great

then put that away and discuss the East cards

    etc.

What materials are best for teaching opening leads?
