The ABF Marketing Sub-Committee had its inaugural meeting on 22 January 2011.
Its mission and goals for 2011, as endorsed by the ABF Management Committee in
March 2011, are outlined below.
Mission:
To make a valuable contribution to the community by promoting membership and
involvement with the Australian Bridge Federation Inc (through its State and
Territory affiliates).
Goals:
Increase ABF membership
Initiate a research program to enable improvement in marketing activities with
initial priority given to building on the ABF's understanding of both existing
and potential members
Initiate an ABF brand management program
Increase the playing frequency of existing members in ABF events
Obtain maximum value for the ABF's annual investment in marketing.
Composition
The ABF Marketing Sub-Committee is comprised of five members and it is envisaged
that approximately 4-5 meetings will be held annually.
