2014 Playoffs to select Australian teams

Selecting Open, Women's and Senior teams for 2014
The playoffs for 2014 are proposed to have a pairs format. Note that Australia does not send representative teams to WBF events in 2014, since the WBF Rosenblum Cup is open entry.
It is likely that the Open & Women's playoffs for 2014 will not be held in December 2013, because of constraints including an anticipated clash with the US Fall National Championships.
Either the playoff will need to move forward to November or be scheduled in early 2014. Possibilities that might be considered include:
- The first week of the Summer Festival of Bridge in January 2014.
- In February between the Summer Festival and the Gold Coast Congress.
- In early March after the Gold Coast Congress.
Input is invited on the timing of the Open, Women's and Seniors' playoff to select the 2014 team.
