The Asia Cup has been moved from Bangladesh. It will now be held in Goa, India from 4-10 June.

The ABF is willing to endorse 2nd teams for the Men’s, Women’s or Senior Teams, although these teams will be 100% self-funded. Support will be limited to providing Australian team uniforms. In addition there is still an opportunity to nominate a Mixed and/or SuperMixed Team.

Players wishing to nominate for any of these events need to lodge an expression of interest with the ABF Secretariat, secretariat3@bigpond.com, as soon as possible and no later than close of business on 28 February 2018. This should include the names of all proposed team members.

If more than one team nominates for any above category then PQPs won since October 2016 will be used as the tiebreaker if necessary.  Nominating Pairs will be ranked according to PQP levels of players, with priority given to established, successful partnerships. The current rule that doubles PQPs won as a partnership will apply in calculating a team’s PQPs.
