2008 World Bridge Games
Beijing, China, October 3 - 18
There will be three Youth team events at the 2008 World Bridge Games in Beijing in October:
- World Mind Sports Games National Youth Teams (under 28)
- World Under 26 Team Championship for the Ortiz-Patiņo Trophy
- World Under 21 Team Championship for the Damiani Cup
The Under 26 team was selected earlier this year:
Andy Hung - Nabil Edgtton
Daniel Krochmalik - Griff Ware
Paul Gosney - Nye Griffiths
Applications are now being sought by the ABF for pairs to be selected in the Australian Under 28 or Under 21 Bridge Team in 2008. Age eligibility is being born on or after 1 January 1980 or 1 January 1987 respectively.
The deadline for entries is 5pm on Thursday May 8, 2008.

The Selection Panels who will select the squad members and later select the team members are:
U21 team - David Lusk and Peter Gill with advice from Matthew McManus and State Youth Coordinators.
U28 team - Cathy Mill, David Lusk, Peter Gill with advice from Matthew McManus and State Youth Coordinators.
