News

David Stern is now the chairman of the Youth committee. (13/11/09)

At the Closing Ceremony of the 2009 European Youth Championships, the WBF confirmed that the 2010 World U26 and World U21 Team Championships will definitely be held in Philadelphia in the first half of October 2010. Conditions of each event are expected to be similar to 2008 and 2006, e.g. six countries qualified for each Championship from Europe, despite (unfounded) rumours to the contrary, so it's possible that for the 2012 World U26 and U21 Championships, there might be a change of age limit - if so, we will advise you as soon as we know. The World Pairs and Rosenblum Teams (open to all comers) will also be held in Philadelphia at the same time. The Draft Schedule of these events (but not yet of the youth events) is on the Ecats website.
