Peninsula Bridge Club, NSW
I discovered Bridge when Cath Whiddon asked me to come to her lessons and tell me what I thought. I loved it and asked if she could run a Beginners at night as I was still working. After completing the course, I started playing Supervised and moved into sessions as a “protected pair” which Peninsula Club had started to help their beginners. That was five years ago.
I moved into Bridge education to assist the Education team and learn more about the game of bridge and what students needed to enjoy and understand the game.
I love learning and that’s what Bridge is – a constant learning process – it has also provided me with a great group of new friends that I enjoy travelling going to movies discussing books and eating out with.
As for something people may not know about me… I cant sink!!! Seriously, I can sit in the ocean as if I’m in a deck chair.
