Tableland Bridge Club, QLD
How did you discover Bridge? When did you first start playing?
I started to play bridge about six or so years ago. Two of my friends asked to try it out and I decided to stay. Unfortunately, I went out west to my brother and was away so long I almost gave it up. However, our bridge teacher Sue Holme asked me back when I eventually came home.
Why did you decide to become a Bridge Teacher?
Sue Holme asked me to take over from her when she retires and I decided I had better learn just how to do this the right way so I can share my knowledge with any future students.
What do you enjoy most about playing/teaching Bridge?
I am just so happy to see students playing in the club. I really enjoy the interaction with the students and sharing what I have learnt in my game with Joan’s and the ABF’s help.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
I observe different personalities and think what journeys have shaped us that way. I love living things.
