The tournament will be held at Makati City, the major business/shopping center of the Philippines:
Best Western Plus Antel Hotel
7829 Makati Avenue, 1200 Makati City
(behind “A” Venue, a well-known events place)
website: http://www.antelhotel.com/

This is a 3.5-star hotel, located in Makati City. We have been able to arrange special rates with the venue hotel (whether single or twin oocupancy):
Studio/De Luxe – PHP 3,200 per night
One Bedroom Suite – PHP 3,400 per night
Two Bedroom Suite – PHP 5,000 per night

The above rates include service charge and government taxes. They also include:
– Buffet Breakfast For Two
– Free Wi-Fi
– Use of Infinity Pool and Fitness Center

As of now, the hotel has not yet made the necessary arrangements for visitors to book directly at the above special rates. In the meantime, we shall be happy to coordinate and do that for you.

Some friends have asked about the possibility of staying in a 5-star hotel (the nearest one is the Mandarin, located less than 2 kilometers away). We can arrange that. Conversely, some youth teams are asking about even cheaper budget accommodations. We can likewise help in that area.

We have always viewed the ASEAN Championships as a tournament among friends. As such, we are prepared to go the extra mile to make sure that our friends enjoy their visit to the Philippines. Some folks have planned to arrive a few days earlier (or depart a few days later), so as to be able to see more of the country. We are always prepared to help folks in arranging special requests such as private tours (either standard packaged tours, or simple custom-made trips with their local friends). Just let us know your specific requirements, should Sue and you need anything.

I hope the above is enough to get you started. Please do not hesitate to get back to me should you have more questions or should you need more assistance. We are always happy to be of help.

Best regards,

Felipe “Phil” Manalang
Philippine Tournament Bridge Association
