Changed approach reaps huge reward!

The South Australian Bridge Association switched their advertising from the Seniors Lifestyle Guide ($2,500 per year) to the Seniors newspaper ($550 each 3 months, ie 4 classes a year).

As a consequence, they have experienced huge growth.  The Club manager, Gary Deaton, has advised that he has had to change his day-time classes from Wednesdays to Tuesdays as they are now at full capacity - over 200 people attending on Wednesdays and a new class of 40 people starting.

The Senior Newspaper is read by the over 60s age group.

When providing feedback to the Seniors newspaper Gary was asked to let other States know that the publication has now set a rate standard for any other Region which may be interested.

This may be of particular interest to larger States as the circulation would be much greater than in South Australia -  which would normally attract a higher advertising cost.
