How did you get started in bridge? At what age? Who from?

Lessons with grandmother at Sydney Bridge Club – age 14.

What do (did) you do professionally?

Bridge teaching and directing

Who is your partner and for how long? Longest partnership?

Jodi Tutty- we started playing together in 1980s and had 30 year break. Then, won a gold medal for Australia in Goa 2018 in the Mixed Teams.

If you had a choice who would you like to play with? Australia and Internationally- living or dead?

Ted Chadwick and I played together from 1995 including representing Australia at the Olympiad in Rhodes 1996. We played together for over 10 years and even taught bridge together for many years.

In your playing career, what is the bridge success that has the most meaning for you?

Representing Australia

And your worst moment in bridge?

Losing a national tournament by 1 imp!

Favourite bridge book?

Card Play Technique by Mollo and Gardiner

What interests or hobbies do you have besides bridge?

Very enthusiastic tennis player and keen day trekker

National Titles

Winner of many national events – favourite event Grand Nationals. 

State Representation

Represented NSW on open team 7 times for 5 wins.

Represented NSW on senior team 2 times for 2 wins. 

International Representation

Recently represented Australian open team in Lyon and Korea in 2017. Played on Australian mixed team in Wuhan 2019  and Salsomaggiore 2022
