Join the ABF as Our Solution Architect – Perfect for Retired Bridge Enthusiasts!
Are you an experienced Enterprise or Solution Architect with a passion for bridge? The Australian Bridge Federation (ABF) is excited to offer a unique opportunity for you to bring your expertise to the MyABF development project and make a significant impact on the bridge community.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Solution Architect to help us design and implement solutions for our MyABF platform. This part-time role requires up to 2.5 days per week, although this may vary over time. Allowing you to continue enjoying your bridge games while contributing to the growth and improvement of our software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive software architectures and detailed design solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and satisfy business requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and maintenance.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Create detailed design documentation, including architectural diagrams, roadmaps, technical specifications, and interface definitions.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience working as an Enterprise or Solution Architect.
- You don’t have to be a champion bridge player but a basic understanding of the game itself and the aptitude to architect solutions for bridge club operations is essential.
