New Zealand players’ eligibility to play in Masterpoint restricted events

To be eligible to enter a Masterpoint restricted event in Australia, NZ registered players must satisfy the following criteria:

Under 1500: less than NZ Grand Master as at xxxx
Intermediate: less than NZ National Master as at xxxx
0-500: less than NZ Master as at xxxx
Restricted: less than NZ Provincial Master as at xxxx
Novice: less than NZ Local Master as at xxxx
Under 50 MP: less than NZ Club Master as at xxxx
Rookie: less than NZ Certificate of Proficiency as at xxxx

To find NZ Masterpoint Ranking

Go to https://www.nzbridge.co.nz/online-points.html

  • Enter the player name under “SEARCH MASTERPOINTS”
  • When you locate the player, you will also see their current rank
  • To check if they satisfy the criteria at a particular date, click on their name. At the bottom of this page, you will see USER HISTORY. This will tell you the date at which they moved from one rank to the next.
