Supporting Australia’s Future Stars at the 19th World Youth Team Championships

From July 12–17, 2025, the scenic town of Salsomaggiore Terme, Italy, will host the 19th World Youth Team Championships, a premier event organised by the World Bridge Federation (WBF). This biennial competition brings together the world’s most talented young bridge players across various age categories, including U26, U21, U16, U26 Women, and U31.

Bridge for Peace: Uniting Youth Through Mind Sports

In a world often marked by division and conflict, the WBF’s official motto, “Bridge for Peace,” serves as a powerful reminder of the unifying potential of sports. This slogan encapsulates the organisation’s commitment to promoting harmony and understanding through the game of bridge. By bringing together young minds from diverse backgrounds, the championships foster friendships and mutual respect, transcending cultural and national boundaries.
