Stephen Burgess passed away January 3, 2026.

Originally from New Zealand, Stephen had an illustrious career in Australia winning the Australian Open Team Playoff in 1983, 1984, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1997 and 2000 and the Australian Seniors Team Playoff in 2016, 2020, 2023 and 2024.

He was the winner of many national championships:
