2020 Australian Team Announcements

The ABF Management Committee is pleased to announce the Australian Mixed Team for 2020 is
Trevor Fuller, Leone Fuller, Stephen Fischer, Pele Rankin, Hugh Grosvenor, Tania Lloyd.

The Australian teams will contest the APBF Open Congress in Perth in April and the World Bridge Teams & World Youth Teams Championships in Salsomaggiore Terme, Italy later in the year.


The ABF is supporting seven teams to play in the Asia Pacific Bridge Federation Open Congress which will be held in Perth from April 15 – 22:

Women’s Team: Sophie Ashton, Lauren Travis, Jessica Brake, Susan Humphries, Marianne Bookallil, Jodi Tutty.
Seniors’ Team: Robert Krochmalik, Paul Lavings, Stephen Burgess, Gabi Lorentz, George Kozakos, George Smolanko.
Open Team: Sartaj Hans, Nabil Edgtton, Andy Hung, Peter Gill.
Mixed Team: Trevor Fuller, Leone Fuller, Stephen Fischer, Pele Rankin, Hugh Grosvenor, Tania Lloyd.
Under-26: Andrew Spooner, Renee Cooper, Alex Phillips, James Palmer.
Under-21: Tomer Libman, Lara Topper, George Bartley, Jack Luke-Paredi.
Under-16: Jade Wilkinson, Lincoln Davey, Fletcher Davey, Dev Shah, Diya Shah, Taydon Gold.

Phil Markey has been appointed as captain/coach for the three youth teams for the APBF.

For the World Teams’ events in Italy, the Open Team will be joined by Michael Courtney, Paul Wyer and David Wiltshire (NPC). The Youth Team will be Renee Cooper – Andrew Spooner – Jamie Thompson – David Gue – Bertie Morgan – George Bartley. Other additions to the teams for Italy are Peter Buchen (NPC Seniors Team); Mike Doecke (NPC Women’s Team) and Julian Foster (NPC Mixed Team). The NPC for the youth team is to be announced soon.

We wish the team success in their respective competitions in the year ahead.
