Asia Cup, Jakarta – October 2022

The Asia Cup will be held from 19-25 October, in Jakarta, Indonesia.  While arrangements are yet to be finalised, the President of the Indonesian Contract Bridge Association has confirmed the main event will include Men’s, Women’s, Seniors’ and Mixed teams. Pairs events will follow the team events.

The ABF intends to support Australian representative teams to compete in all categories of the Asia Cup.  The ABF will cover entry fees and uniforms for the Men’s, Women’s, Seniors’ and Mixed teams. Eligible pairs from the Open, Women’s and Seniors’ playoffs will be contacted directly.

Teams wishing to nominate for the Mixed category need to lodge an expression of interest with the ABF Secretariat, secretariat@abf.com.au before close of business on Friday 26 August 2022. This should include the names of all proposed team members.

Nominations for the Mixed category will be assessed by a subcommittee of the ABF Tournament Committee and ratified by the ABF Board.  Prime consideration will be recent performance by nominated pairs.
