During this year’s Youth ANC, two new awards were introduced to celebrate the importance of characteristics beyond the scoreboard.

The ANC Youth ITC Players’ Choice Award:
Based on the WBF Joan Gerard Award, this award recognises the player who best exemplifies the spirit of the ANC Youth ITC through sportsmanship, fair play, ethical conduct, respect for others and a consistently positive attitude.

The inaugural recipient is Sam Goss (Victoria).

The ANC Youth ITC Rising Star Award:
Recognises an emerging player who has demonstrated strong performances, rapid development, commitment to learning and the potential for future success.

The inaugural recipient is Jess He (ACT).
