Hi Albert,
Given the equal vulnerability along with our four small spades, I would be inclined to double (responsive). If partner has shape, he can remove it (to 4♠ with a 4153 shape for example), but if he has less shape such as 4243 where we might have two heart losers, he is welcome to pass my double and I’d be happy enough to collect our plus score in 4♥X.

Partner did have a 4243 shape and would pass the responsive double as 4♥X goes one off. A 4♠ bid would have attracted a penalty double and it will go for -800.
